#GoogleSandbox Budapest

Last week I have attended #GoogleSandbox Budapest at HubHub organized by Google.
Cool event at a cool place! It's been great to gain more insight into Google technologies and the life at Google.

Google Hash Code 2019 team programming competition

We’ll be hosting a hub at Schönherz Kollégium for the Online Qualification Round of Hash Code, a team programming competition organized by Google.

The Online Qualification Round takes place on February 28th, 2019 at 17:30 and registered teams from Hungary are invited to participate from our hub, which will take place at Schönherz Kollégium (1117 Budapest, Irinyi J. út 42.).

Top scoring teams from the Online Qualification Round will then be invited to Google’s office to compete in the Final Round of the competition in April.

If you’re interested in joining our hub, find a team (2 to 4 people) and be sure you all register by 25th Monday at


You’ll then need to select 'GDG Budapest - Schonherz KSZK Hub' from the list of hubs in the Judge System.

Goolge Hash Code coding competition 2019 survey

Hash Code is a team programming competition, organized by Google, for students and professionals around the world. You pick your team and programming language and we pick an engineering problem for you to solve. This year’s contest kicks off with an Online Qualification Round, where your team can compete from wherever you’d like, including from one of our Hash Code hubs. Code Jam to I/O for Women 2019

Join women from around the globe to solve algorithmic challenges in the online coding competition "Code Jam to I/O for Women". 

The top 150 participants will receive a ticket for Google IO and reimbursement to offset their travel expenses. 

The 2018 #CodeJamFinals concluded in Toronto, Canada on August 9-10. The top contestants gathered in one room to solve five complex algorithmic puzzles over the course of four hours.
